After acquisition of Cadbury by American Kraft, it has to sell their chocolate business in Poland and Romania.

That means that Polish Wedel confectionery manufacturer (former Cadbury) shall also change the owner.

One of the candidate to buy Wedel is Polish big food manufacturer Maspex (www.maspex.com.pl/en/).

They are a leader on Poland's market of beverages, juices and pasta and now intend also to enter the manufacture of food products of the extended expiration date.

In Poland Cadbury and Kraft control 59% of the chocolate market.

The 3rd position (12,5% of the market share) ranks Polish Jutrzenka (www.jutrzenka.com.pl), which is also interested in Wedel acquisition.
